Overview

The Office of the Director, Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy will sponsor a one day FAR/DFARS Review to be presented by the Defense Acquisition Regulations System (DARS). The one day review will include a briefing on the rule-making process and a series of breakout sessions to address changes in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) issued during the past year. This review will include a discussion of FAR/DFARS cases of interest to Department of the Navy acquisition personnel.

The Deputy Director of DARS will discuss the rulemaking process during the general assembly at the beginning of the Review. Immediately following the Deputy Director’s briefing, there will be several breakout sessions, led by DARS senior procurement analysts, to address specific FAR/DFARS rules published during the past year. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, obtain additional guidance and clarifications and provide feedback on the rules.

There is no cost for this Review.
